Once again a thoroughly enjoyable weekend with good company and in a very worthwhile cause. Weather could have been better yesterday but today has been glorious. Big thanks to Reg for a very enjoyable bimble around the Peak District today (or as Reg put it a 9 point bimble!!) I really must make more of an effort to explore the area as its only a couple of hours away from home.

Regards Peter.

A big thankyou to you all for last nights 'dessert' and chinese rendition of Happy Birthday.

As above, thanks Reg.

Any chance of the birthday cake pic being posted?

Top weekend. Shame on the other 495 of you who didn't turn up

Here are some pics of the presentation of the cheque to the representative from Macmillan:

The eagle eyed amongst you will spot there were two physical cheques, one from HSBC and the other from the far more exclusive bank of Boxertrix.

Thanks to Reg for organising the original weekend, the money raising scheme and the second presentation weekend.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Thanks to those who attended at the weekend. The first rain for weeks fell on Saturday, but Sunday was fine again.I dont know what the final count of "Appy Blirthday" was, but Peter really looked impressed by his.I feel sure if pressed he will post the picture for all to see.Sunday, we had a gentle ride around the Peak District, took in a little culture by taking morning coffee in a stately home, then enjoyed a lunch break in an upmarket transport caff. Hope you all had a good ride home, and look forward to your company again in September.
