Sorry to hear that Peter. Good luck with it, I went through it all over the last couple of years and the NHS sorted it out. Although it was really frustrating the number of times you answer the same questions about your medical history from different people before you get to the surgeon doing the job.

Thanks for the good wishes and PM's. Looking like surgery mid March so hopefully I'll be out and about for the summer!! Surgeon's confident that he can remove all the cancer so here's hoping. Thanks again.

Just spotted your post Peter. Sorry to hear the news about your diagnosis and best wishes for your full recovery after surgery. We had a cancer scare with my partner, Helen, last year and after the surgery she had in June she is now totally clear. The chances of recovery after diagnosis seem to be getting better and better all the time, so we are all relying on you to keep that positive streak going!

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Sorry to hear that Peter once you get all sorted out it will time to stretch the legs off the bike again on the next trixter weekend :D

Spoken to Peter,he has had operation and is back home.It was a success and he is ok although in a bit of discomfort as he heals.

Yes I've had the surgery and feeling a bit uncomfortable at the moment but I'm still here!! Hopefully getting better every day and soon get back on the bike!! Trouble is I'm sat here browsing and wondering what I can buy!! See you all soon I hope.
