Back home after a pretty miserable ride from Denholm to Edinburgh where it finally stopped raining, so just had spray to contend with the rest of the way.
Thanks again to Chris (and Amanda) for a truly great Boxertrix meet-up. It was so good to get together again. The hotel did us proud, the ride out in the sun was excellent and we even got to see the Tour of Britain cycle race.
The highlight was, of course, the raffle C&A did at the conference dinner last night. Excellent prizes, I did especially well. The plastic pants may prove more useful than the Mankini .
Now I'm off to wash the bike.
All the best

Truly a top weekend. Huge thanks to Chris and Amanda for organising such a great trip for us all. They had obviously found a virgin to sacrifice, to please the weather gods on Monday, and to keep the roads clear of traffic for us. Gutted that we didn't see Ian modelling his raffle prize
Looking forward to Llangollen in October now and seeing friends, old and new, again.
Cheers,
Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
Well after looking a the weekends weather forecast it just couldn't have been better, fantastic ride out on Monday-dry roads all day. Good to catch up with old friends again. Yes i got totally soaked on the way home but hey-ho thats biking!!
On the down side... I have tested positive for Covid this morning. Anyone lucky enough to be in close proximity to me last weekend might want to fish out a covid test for themselves, just in case...

Why? the more you test the more fake positives you find
Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)
started out with nothing, still have most of it left.

Oh sorry to hear that Paul. That's a tough gig.
Taking in to account our bear hugs on the last night, I was fine. Hope you got over it quickly.
