Hi Team,

All finished and I'm really happy with the result. I think I have achieved the different look that I was trying to get. The new brakes have a nice feel. A stronger initial "bite" and a nice and strong progressive feel after that. The pads are still bedding in so I'll see how it feels in a couple of hundred kilometers.

I might summarise this thread and re-post it as "R1100S Brake Conversion" or something similar.

Thanks to all for your advice, encouragement and comments.

Looks good! What did you use to "stick" the fork bottoms on? Did the top yoke come from the same place as the fork bottoms?

re-read the thread and see the top yoke came from the same people. Is that the part underneath the fork feet on the web page? 218 Euros?
