Just got back from a week in Maroc. Will post my pics later on, but the roads are shocking (not just the condition but the insh'allah maniacs driving). Went everywhere in a Toyota HiLux. More later.

Fantastic pics Pob, you did more of an off road trip by the look of it, my r1100s aint up for that so we sticking to the roads, well thats the plan
would you know roughly how long it will take us to get down to Marrakech??? Could we make it in one day, if we on early boat?

Tarifa to Marrakech takes 2.5 days, mainly because of the terrible roads in Maroc and the slow frontier. This builds in some time to find accomodation in the light.

It's a big place dude, and not at all like Europe in terms of A to B access.

you can buy a metal bash plate/sump guard for the 11S, I got one (can't remember if it was from Motorworks or Moto-bins)
or buy one from a 1100/1150GS and trim it a bit - it's too high on one side...(I have one of those as well)
