Looks like I'll have to get it sorted out next week when the old girl goes in for her MOT.
As for the hols, yep, rained at some point every day we were on the bikes which was nearly every day, approx 2,500 miles in total. Big storms in short bursts so no real problems except the water gathers in the huge truck ruts and makes overtakes a bit of a game!!!
On the whole, a very interesting trip though through Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany.
What a load of contrasts, although not the normal gastro blow out with bends-a-plenty on the rides. Lots of straight stuff and very dodgy surfaces. The maps where pretty accurate when it came to showing which roads where surfaced or gravel.
Not sure I'd rush back to the Baltics but we are pretty glad we have taken a look.

Re: Drive Seal gone?
yup, a little trickle down the front of the para lever arm, go have a talk with ol' uncle Wally and he'll tell you why the system fails so regularlyRob B wrote:Lads,
What are the tell tale signs that your seal has gone? I have just returned from the summer hols trip and there is some oil leaking out of the back of the rear para lever gaiter. I guess there is execss lube washing around somewhere.
