Well I've not laughed so much in years. What a load of t*ss.......

Going along to the show tomorrow with a couple of mates from work. Good thing about it being in London is that we can take the Tube there instead of having to drive...so by 2pm we won't really care if the show's crap or not.

I can't understand anyone have a car down there,took me two and a half hours on wednesday to do 15 miles,although in fairness if i'd chucked my SN out the window and followed my gut instinct it may have been quicker!! well maybe.

I've lived here 22 years and reckon I've driven the car into central London no more than about 2 or 3 times a year. Quite likely less than that tbh.

Biking though, once you've got into the 'London way' can be a lot of fun.

i live in central london and the only time i use my car is to drive out of it.

i only occasionally bring my bike to town but i always enjoy it. it 'is' fun

stick to sunday and you can even park..

there are other reasons to live in London...... so I hear.

I drove into London on my bike once, by mistake (missed an exit on the M40) and it still gives me nightmares. And that was over 10 years ago. I am sure it is much worse now. I still have no idea how I survived the countless attacks from them cabbies on my life while trying to figure out where to go and staying on the wrong side of the road. More luck than skill at least.

I have no problem with English humor, but calling London on a bike 'fun' is a twisted form of humor I will probably never understand.

So,... who were the likely suspects parked at the Excel, the BCR next to the Colgate R1200S? (Saturday)

Ah well - the show wasn't too bad, but really (as usual) ended up being a 'dunno why we bothered' experience. Ah well...

Did meet and have a good chat with a certain Mr Nick Sanders, and bought his new books and Timbuktu DVD. Seemed a genuinely nice guy, and had that certain glint of 'I'm not really quite sane' in his eyes.

Bikes to like?

The Katoom sportsbike looks fabulous, as did the Ducati 1000 Sport (the red one). The F800GS is quite nifty too - reckon this will be a lot of fun.

I was up there on saturday (Colgate R1200S) but I was parked with a Z750.
Loved the Show, the stunt show was definately worth the queue, the trade stands seemed a better mix that the ones at the NEC.

And the ride through london is always worth it especialy when you see all the poor visitors stuck in there cars at excell.
