We have 20' high fencing, armed guards, my bike's in a brick-built, locked garage which is 1/4 mile from a secure point of exit/entry (MoD property) and yet I still pay £££ for insewerance.

last year i paid £165 with bmw.there was no breakdown cover with the policy so had to pay out another £50 for 12 months nci breakdown cover.
just paid £109 with carole nash including breakdown cover uk and europe. well pleased
bike kept in locked garage with the added protection of
scooby!!!!!.but not sure if he helped with the premium

he is nearly four now and only just begining to settle down.

Just in case you've not done the deed yet....
03 model, shark endcan, abletronic alarm, parked in front garden at night (Erith, Kent), in a bike bay (central London) during the day, 47 years old and 5 years no claimes. All declared at time of insurance (last April) £265 full comp. insureyourbike.com (they live in Bexleyheath) so you can do it over the net/phone or in person, if you're close enough.

OK, got my renewal quote with carole nash... £280 fully comp and that includes my cbr600 and european breakdown cover. not so bad.
thanks to all for giving me a good idea of what the going rate is.

Licence since Ted Heath was in charge, full no claims, live in Yawnsville, Sticks, quote from them was £165 + £100 for Euro breakdown.

I used to have a flat in slough and my insurance for the 600 was £185 my car ins was literally half the amount i have to pay now.
