Join the club Steve (I'm in Uxbridge) :(

We have 20' high fencing, armed guards, my bike's in a brick-built, locked garage which is 1/4 mile from a secure point of exit/entry (MoD property) and yet I still pay £££ for insewerance.

Just in case you've not done the deed yet....
03 model, shark endcan, abletronic alarm, parked in front garden at night (Erith, Kent), in a bike bay (central London) during the day, 47 years old and 5 years no claimes. All declared at time of insurance (last April) £265 full comp. insureyourbike.com (they live in Bexleyheath) so you can do it over the net/phone or in person, if you're close enough.
130 up the mountain mile on me R1100S isn't enough!

Licence since Ted Heath was in charge, full no claims, live in Yawnsville, Sticks, quote from them was £165 + £100 for Euro breakdown.
Find them at www.mcebikes.com
came within the top 20 of a recent insurers survey for bikers.
+ a nice young lady gave me her T shirt. She said XL was too big for her, I could have it.
Oyster. 1999 R1100S. Almost original.
