To be honest, this new Sargent seat is actually firmer than the original, so if you're after something that is very soft, you might want to look at gel-seats. As for height, it makes no discernible difference, BUT you can ask Sargent to make your seat height lower during manufacture.

It's a top-quality piece of kit and it also looks great!
