I was just chasing a decent setting for my weight and riding style after I bought the bike from you.
Steve kept telling me to eat more pies and stop playing with the settings.

What happens if I don't get my Ohlins done? 26K kms now.

A gradual and imperceptible decline in performance as oil degrades, and seals gently weep.
Just the same as OE shocks.
Except you have the opportunity to service the shocks and restore premium performance.
I had Maxton shocks on my 1100S and still remember what a difference they made, best money I spent.

Hmm - so the 25 year old OEM units on my R110RS are slightly past their prime then
? Actually I changed the rear for a Wilburs unit a couple of years back; but the front springs & shocks are original I think... A bit spongy but they seem to work. If I updated then I bet it would transform the bike!

I might be showing my thickness here but are the shocks for the 04 BCR (taller model) the same length as the standard 1100s?
