Steve, did you get yours from the UK. I am loath to spend £35 on carriage. More than loath actually, i'm just not doing it.Boxered wrote:on longer trips I carry a neat little compressor, made by slime

they're also badged by the RAC as their own too. It's quite a compact unit and fits in the pannier hardly taking any room really

Thanks for that Steve, it looks alright. I saw one oin Halfords today but it was just a bit too big. I only use a bagster tank bag and a 32 ltr ventura so space is at a premium. Don't suppose you have the dims do you?slparry wrote:I've got one of thesef90x wrote:Steve, did you get yours from the UK. I am loath to spend £35 on carriage. You do realise that all those compressors have similar internals . The large plastic box they're mounted in isn't requiredf90x wrote:Don't worry. Found it on Amazon with all the spec. too big I'm afraid.

Have you got access to some road traffic film remover? I've got some stuff from work which removes oil a treat. I'm into Skem thurs fri and sat nights if you can get to PimboBoxered wrote:So removed the fairing panels tonight, and then removed the plastic front cover and look what came out
I can't make out which seal has blown but the plastic seal cover is particularly soaked in oil
and my rear tyre is going to take some cleaning
and the eagle eyed amongst you will have spotted the nail in the tyre that was just there to pour salt on my wound![]()
