Don't worry about insulting all us R 1200S owners on here who love our bikes.
I don't think the R1200S is ugly, heck even the ST is growing on me :)

The "Q425A special model", 916 colour scheme (I still think this is two fingers to Ducati with the 11S having underseat pipes), along with sports suspension and "wide tires" denotes a mamola BCR :)

Oh and as far as I'm aware I thought the lazer pipes were OEM on the red white and blue boxercups?

Mine has a full Remus Grand Prix on it that's a little loud
Thanks again!

On the exhaust issue: I’m thinking on fabricating one (bike already has the Y-pipe) myself, since I think the aftermarket cans are way overpriced.
I like the absorption type (with a perforated pipe in the middle, and dampening material around it) and was very happy with the one I made for my Suzuki.
But since the pipe leading up to where the end cans sit is offset from the center, it has to be a baffle type muffler.

Sorry

I thought about that before writing, but then again: beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?
And if it’s of any consolation: an r1200s will literally run rings around an r1100s any day of the week! Even a BCR, with all those fancy decals all over the lower fairing!

Harrumph ..... I take exception to that Tapio ;) .... my BCR's been known to run rings around the occasional R12S ... of course whilst never exceeding any speed limits on the Queens Highway
