I think if you phone and book as a club you will get a discount for a party over 10.

Arse. Working again. Would've tied in nicely with a visit to family in Nuneaton. :(

Family in Nuneaton? My dad's side of the family are from there (I was born at the George Eliot as it happens). No one left there now though, not been back since my grandad died 10 years ago.

Many happy memories of visiting grandparents, running around as a kid in Riversley Park. Happy days. :)

Auntie works at the GE. Dad born in Bucks Hill. All dad's siblings and umpteen cousins scattered around the town. Fond childhood memories of grandparents here too :)

Great stuff. :)

My Grands used to live in Stewart St (just off Edward St) but moved over to Stockingford when my G'dad retired. He worked for the Coventry Evening Telegraph, my dad worked for Rugby Cement as a lab chemist. We moved from Nuneaton to Rugby though in 1967 (when I was just turned 2) then to Cambridge a year later.

Blimey, the aunt I stay with lives in a bungalow backing onto the old railway line in Stockingford. Can't be far from where your folks were :)

Mike.
Could well have been Mike - my Grands lived in Tower View Cresc. Basically heading out of town on Ansley Rd, you'd turn off to the right (down Wiclif Way) just past where Astley Lane goes off left down to Seaswood Pool.
