EDIT and with a little searching it all comes clear but why they mark it on the tyre is beyond me

I can't think of a road Metzeler that has ever been at the top of the tree - compared to the rest of the field.
(see what I did there - with the mixed metaphor............)
Does anyone on here - put Metzeler road tyres on......... unless they are on offer?

Just had a look at the Metzeler website and the "Tourance Next" looks the Muts Nuts...

Would I be correct in thinking that your other bike benefits not from tyres on offer............ but from free tyres?Yogi Bear wrote:I've got Z8's on my other bike - Good Tyre!Blackal wrote:Metzeler Tourance - a miracle of modern technology (on a semi-trail tyre)

I had Z8's on my K12GT ... they were awful, worn to illegal in 2500 miles when all other tyres I've had on it Z6/Avon Storms/ContiMotions have lasted at least 4000 miles. The best for it have been the Avons, lovely ride comfort/handling/feel/grip/wet use etc ... and wear reasonably wellYogi Bear wrote:I've got Z8's on my other bike - Good Tyre!Blackal wrote:Metzeler Tourance - a miracle of modern technology (on a semi-trail tyre)

I just took a look at the Tourance Next ... mmmm to much bias to road use .. like the new Mich Anakee's ..... I like my dual purpose tyres to look dual purpose I guess.
