I have to agree that it is nice

What happened to the project in the end mate?

The project was finished and I used it for a year . I then bought the 1200 and I knew I wouldn't use the project. Offered it for sale, no takers. So I broke it up and sold all the bits. I have got rid of a load of 1100s bits over the past few months. An old forum member came and collected a car full of bits yesterday. Now have room in the garage for another project to start over next winter.

Great mods and the bike looks sweet. I do love the exhaust system you have on it. How much did it set you back?

Definitely off it Gus - imho the 1200S looks loads better without one, in fact I've yet to see one I even remotely like yet, they make the bike look too heavy-set. And they cover up that gorgeous exhaust system too.gus wrote:I already have a ilmberger bellypan which came with the bike. It was already on the bike when I bought it. I don't think you got much change ou of a couple of grand.

Your bike looks fabulous as it is.
The bellypan is a lovely piece and some find it finishes the 1200s off. I think I prefer mine without it. It's a carbon fibre ilmburger unit. I may well sell it as I don't think I will ever fit it again.
