Harry
I suspect not I never had OE panniers with mine. I know it won't work on the R1200ST bcause the panniers lock onto a knobby bit of the footrest mount.

I don`t have boxe`s, but don`t the pannier mounts use the same holes as the footrest as they are sandwiched between the footrest and the subframe, if so they will not be affected as the plate will take the place of the footrests or am I missing something? perhaps somebody who has the relevant bits on their bike could check before I start production. If you don`t have panniers it doesn`t matter.

Al.

Edit, a friend has sent photo`s of his footrests/pannier mounts and the panniers are not going to work with the lowering brackets as they match the contours of the footrests. :(

Looking at the pics again i think they will need modding a bit to get a good fit but i still feel they can be made to fit by using a spacer between the plate and the pannier plate possibly a dog bone shaped spacer 6mm thick

EDIT thinking about it the footrests will be an inch lower so they may work just fine without any spacer i still want them Dai

Just been out and measured the lower pannier mount it runs straight from the mounting hole for 35mm so i think attack the back of the plate with a file and all will be good the top of the plate will be fine the lower end may just catch the pannier bracket but i still have a idea they will fit as is

the pannier mount bits are fixed to the hanger as well as sandwiched between the hanger and sub frame

If you look at the photo, with the footrests lowered on a plate the pannier mount will still be in the same place on the frame and therefore will not allow the plate to be fitted.

+ as Tim says in previous post the pannier mounts are fixed to the footrest bracket so I cannot see it working.

Dai, do you want me to send you a set of shaped but undrilled plates so you can have a fiddle with them yourself or a finished set? The cap head bolts may not be long enough with the pannier mounts fitted so I can swap for longer stainless hex heads if you would prefer.

Longer hex heads sounds like a good plan

Finished set would be fine i can always play with them at a later date
Thanks Dai
