Sorry HRD (pre Vincent) they added the name Vincent later because

It looks like quite a few favoured the birthday suit approach:

Rich Richards and Blackie Bernal wore tights (or long red underwear). I [Tom Smith] wore a bathing suit since my desert racing leathers made it awkward to lay down on the bike."

I keep coming across lots of 'heroes' like these guys who seem to have been forgotten by the general motorcycle media & public, which is a great shame.
