I squeezed past a Toyota Yaris in Andora. Cylender head missed it, I missed it, Jenny's knee missed it, but the pannier didn't.

The pannier crossed to the other side of the road avoiding oncoming traffic by a good 5m vertical separation. And then the cylender head made contact with the Yaris at least three times.

Toyota Yaris is not very strong.

In our case the ending was not serious, the police secured the box back on the bike using scene of accident tape, and we travelled on to Barcelona.

It does tell you though to watch out when the back end is wider than the front. :shock:

Does not have my sympathy, but the boat owner does. Muppetry! he will not live that one down with his colleagues. The fjr would come in useful though..... as an anchor.
