Hi,
I've just been directed to this post as I have the same problem.
I'm going to try a home made tool to re tighten the riv nuts in the frame, if it dosen't work what type of rivnuts do I need as there are a lot of different types?
Regards,
Jon

I bought some new bolts and put an 8mm tap through to clean the threads, all seems fine now.
Next problem is that I'm trying to get the induct pipe off to change the air filter and the bolt is just going round in the frame.
I've just cut the head off with the Dremel but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did?

Yeah - I've also got one of those, but fortunately I was able to undo it first, but can't tighten it now.
For me - doesn't matter as IMHO two screws are an engineering overkill in the circumstances - and I'm completely happy with the remaining one.
Advice: one will do and don't stress abt the other.
Cheers
