Dont be shy Mr Gromit who is in control you or your ABS personally I hate the whole idea, There are sure to be fellow Trixters out there who subscribe to the system of mechanical control me, I work on the basis that if the shit hits the fan and I want to stamp on the back brake and sling it sideways down the road or into an imovable object I want to be able to make the decision rightly or wrongly.
In the old days we were taught cadence braking but I guess that this is old farts speak these days.
Rant over will now go back into my shell
Probably more than my .5p worth

Bob - I know some folk harp on about 'if ABS saves you just once, it's worth it' but in what's nearly 90,000 miles on R259's ABS has got nearer to killing than saving me. Sure, there's a psychological safety net effect but when the shit's hit the fan, it hasn't been ABS that's come to the rescue.
Cadence braking - I know what you mean, kinda scares passengers though

. I did a Paul Ripley driving course when I'd built my Caterham 7 some years ago, it was a lot of fun and extremely useful. Talking of which, I popped into Caterham Cars this afternoon for a browse...
...oops there's a giveaway.

Have checkewd today with Jeffires BMW who ordered my chip.. It was Wunderlich part number DLB22, which is correct i think..(last of the none twin sparks).
My motronicks unit number is also the last of the none twin sparks.. so it should work... hence i think the chip is definitely goosed.
Not getting much in the way of response from BBPower though.... I would have thought they should replacethe chip?
