collected the bike from them yesterday after its 30k service. Having had it serviced by BMW Battersea for the last 15k miles i thought that they had given me someone elses bike!
Markedly smoother, acceleration seems swifter. Its amazing what a bit of care and attention can do. It makes me wonder exactly what was done on previous services?
oh, cheaper too!

As I had a throttle cable snap on the M4 Thursday Morning (in the snow
), I ended up at Jap & German...
My thanks to Steve for sorting it in time for me to go to the Nurburgring for the weekend...though I didn't go in the end (snow didn't melt quickly enough
).
And...I must concur with Henry...this is the sweetest the bike has been. Ever. As tested all over Sussex very early yesterday.
As I have a service coming up shortly, it will go to J&G...and be fully primed and ready for Chateau Flash

Another happy Jap and German customer, usually use SLM, but felt the cost was beginning to outweigh the quality of work. Put it in 4 weeks ago for 42K service, excellent blokes, called me before they did anything to ok the costs (something SLM have never done in 5 years), did a fantastic job and also offered a ton of free advice.
Got into a chat about touring europe, and told me if I had any problems to call them first before calling road side assistance to see if they could talk me through any problems, f.o.c.!
waited 4 weeks to make sure it continued to run as well as it felt after I wheeled it out of the arches at J&G, it does.
Excellent service, good lads, highly recommended.
