overrun farting

been decatted and lasers fitted.

anyway, tonight i roll off throttle coming into a village and i get a definate overrun PHUT, and then as i approached my drive, down a steep hill, again a definate PHUT, PHUT.....PHUT

normal, or needs new

backfiring, yes. Received wisdom is that backfiring is 'caused by a leaky exhaust'. Everybody knows that..don't they? Mine backfires, and I'm fairly sure the exhaust doesn't leak. Surely it must be unburned fuel cos' the n-alpha has still got too much 'n' on the overrun, even with no alpha from the closed throttle. (check out the lack of brains on this posting!).

i have a big single with an open pipe that spits foot long flames out the back on the overrun, this is....different, more of a fart than a pop iyswim
