F800GS Adventure?

Post by horse27 »

Lots of bits of information with regards the F800GS about (nothing on the actual BMW site as far as I can see).

Anyone seen anything about an Adventure version?

I know the fuel tank is under the seat but those bits of plastic surrounding the radiator look ideal for an auxillary tank (or two).

I am sure Acerbis are working on it if BMW aren't.

It would look good with a pair of Supermoto wheels as well.

Hmmmmmmmm.

Not seen anything of it Lee. I did see a weird looking BMW (Possibly some sporty HP affair) in Smithfield EC1 on Thursday. It looked a little like they were doing a 'Photoshoot'. HP version of the 1200S? not sure,.. I didnt get close enough to see.

Ah, Geoff McGregor I presume :D (An insult if ever I heard one).

How is it?

You got a severely overloaded and impractical overland vehicle and a plan yet?

I do hope so.

Can I play the UK support role? You know, the guy that sits in the warehouse with £250k worth of kit and a helicopter in case you fancy a weekend break.

Let me know.

All the best, Lee.
