New air filter and plugs gapped - what a difference

Post by Archie »

Just had these carried out on my Gixxer by those ingenious Crescent chaps, and it's now magically knocking out 190bhp at the rear wheel.

I'm picking it up on Saturday - it should be interesting....

190bhp? That will make one hell of a dent in the back of a Mercedes

Did Aunty Carole come up trumps with an insurance quote or are you still frantically ringing around?

Enjoy, but be careful old chum.

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

The nice man at Crescent says it goes quite well. Probably will for 50 miles at which point it'll run out of fuel

Aunty Carole only charged me an extra £100 for the privelege, but it took a while to beat it out of them. Most people told me to bog off - something along the lines of "any accidents .... ah your last GSXR1000 was it... [dial tone]"

You can have another go on it if you like

Cheeky bleeder. It was only a little service and the cams turned out to be worn. Suzuki ones were really expensive so I had some pattern ones fitted. They're made by Yosser Hughes or something like that... Same with the tarnished exhaust....

Anyways, how's Frankenbike these days?

Thanks. I'll get back to you on that... I'm still airing my leather trousers after the first run on the unmodified bike
