Avon Road riders.

This is a cross-ply tyre so probably only for use with lighter non-BMW bikes.
Great all round ability. Lovely profile...progressive, neutral, steady and stable. Fast turn in. Great in the wet and wear very well.
Oh......and they're cheap!

Just a quick update; I'm still highly impressed by these tyres. They are lasting mucho longo!
They have an extremely high silica content and are actually bobbling a bit at the edges through my rather lively cornering technique

I've finally fitted a set to my cb5 and they're fine but..... maybe I went through too many sets of dunlops  . First set of tyres i've fitted in ages with just the help of my size twelves (euro 47!) which posssibly explains my" handling problems" or is that too much feedback :? . I fitted them in march which coincided with snowfalls etc , but it seems very difficult to get temperature into the tyre (esp the edge )even in warm weather , and I have some bad head shake slowing down which I didn't have before (well not with the d103's) and head brgs seem fine ...agree
with the long life and in that respect they're fine.
