Hi, I'm looking to buy a nice 1100S. Searching eBay, MCN and Bike Trader regularly.
This one caught my eye...

I contacted the seller:
Could you please let me know more about the Supercup aspects of the bike? What are the "Various other goodies"? Is the exhaust a factory one? Does it have heated grips? How many previous owners? How long have you had it? Any faults? Any Tax? Is the bike currently being used?

Many thanks.

Hi, (not going to ask how you arrived at your Moniker  )

The bike might be okay, as there is no reserve?

I'm not a fan of the exhausts as they are just "bling", but the wheels ain't bad.

If it runs well - it will take you as far as you want to travel.

I wouldn't be looking to punt a lot more than the starting price, mind :?

Anyone else know the history of the bike?

Al :D

Thanks for your thoughts. The bike was relisted, no bidders first time round. I can't see why? Makes me a bit wary... Maybe give it a miss.

Al, moniker is a nod to a domestic i worked with at the hospital. She made tea so weak you'd swear she only put one teabag in the pot. Everyone, even her mum, calls her Onebag now!

:D Sorry onebag my maths were a bit wrong there,it's done more like 12k a year so watch out for the typical salt damage on the fork legs and the bottom yoke and the belt casing behind the front wheel and as you rightly said the more you get to know about 1100's the more there is to know if you know wot i mean

The (short armed?) seller recently added this to the description:
AT THIS POINT I HAVE TO SAY THAT IF THIS BIKE SELLS FOR ANY LESS THAN £3700 TO £3900 IT WILL BE A STEAL!
Any thoughts anyone? Could be a bit of a bargain? Any Stockport owners fancy taking a look?

Cheers
