If I ever progress (is it progress? ) to an R1200s - I'd be very tempted to get it painted in one of the BCR colours. Right now - I'm erring towards the Red/White/Blue

I think that what the 1200s needs, is a killer paint job, I know there is the colgate job, but that don't float my boat. But if they do a factory BCR type paint job........well......maybe

I like that - a lot.
A good exmaple of 'keep it simple' - solid colours, plenty of understatement with that small, enticing flash of yellow cleavage on the Ohlins rear shock.
The problem with going for the red/white/blue BCR colours would be if BMW suddenly did a Powercup version.
Let's face it, if any of our 1200s owners had their bike painted in either of the schemes - we'd all be around it at the annual Boxertrix meet, stroking the curves, taking pics and checking it out from all angles.
(hang on - I think that was Beyonce I was talking about there )

I'll take the blue and white BCR one please. These loose the blue cylinder heads and add a solid blue bellypan
Hang on, i've already got one that looks like that.
As someone has already said (and not wanting to offend anyone who has bought one already ) if BMW did introduce a killer paint job I would be very tempted down the 1200S route. Shallow I know but hey...............I spend more time looking at the bloody thing than I do riding it so at least it may as well look the dogs doodaghs
