You don't think that the £60 taxation is sufficient for them to incur the costs of registered post, do you :(

Highway robbery doesn't even come close

Congratulations PB. You may already be a winner!!!!

Where's that coat of mine?

Paul (hoping its a pleasant surprise  )
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Last week I received a 100 pound fine for being parked on a single yellow line in London late Saturday afternoon...in July.

No ticket was issued (evidence is a Camera apparently), and no other fine was issued...it just starts at 100 quid.

As I was sat beside the bike having a (2 minute) fag at the time I am contesting...

But it wasn't registered. ;-)

I got done by camera on a double yellow (stupid) on Essex road a couple of weeks back. Nice photo of back of car with hazards on and me in the driver's seat whilst my collegue nipped to the drycleaners to pick up a jacket...

50 quid  I was there for all of a minute.

These parking cameras are just cheating - at least with a warden you can be sneaky....

Waiting to get caught on camera removing my plate whilst leaving the bike on the pavement... which happens fairly frequently.

It wasn't registered either...
