I don't seem to be able to vary much from 10 miles/litre consumption.
So - a theoretical 180 miles to the tank?
Think the warning light comes on around 150 miles on the odd times I've taken it that far.

I'd just like to say, I've done 6500 miles on mine and it averages out at 53mpg
. The worst I've got is 48 on a very fast trip to Cornwall and another one to Cumbria. The best is 56 at a steady 70 - 80 mph.

It's not how fast you ride, it's how you ride fast.
Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear
bright until you hear them speak.

I never get more than 130 before the light comes on, and that has been the case with both my Boxer Cups.
Seen it come on at 115 a few times, although the reserve is good for over 40 miles.

Normally get a good 140 miles to reserve though do sometimes turn up around 120s.
Last trip to Leatherhead had one tank to 170.5 miles and only took 14.55 litres to fill up (brimming) and another tank at 167.3 miles and 13.24 litres to fill. Worst tank average 45.8mpg; best tank average 57.36mpg - on the hottest July day when I rode partway back sans jacket up the M1 so speeds were more like 60/70 for quite a while. Overall 656 miles at a trip average of 51mpg.
I need to keep receipts to claim the mileage and need to record the mileage for the trip, so I have all then information to hand. It's not because I have a beard and a BMW ....

Not all people who live in Scotland are Scottish, there again the Welsh have the same love of the English as the Scots.

11 S : around 16,5 kilometer on 1 liter, after some 125 miles (200 kilometers) the yellow 'you-have-less-than-6-liters-left-light' starts burning...
12 S : between 20 to 22 (!!) kilometers on 1 liter (= around 12,5 to 13,75 miles on 1 liter)
RT (with two up) : around 16 to 18 kilometers on 1 liter
Have a nice day !

To redress the balance...
If your little light comes on at anything over 120 miles you're not trying hard enough.
