reduced wiring

Post by twodear »

Has anyone seen or made a schematic to show a wiring diagram reduced to the basics? I'm planning on losing the alternator and starter motor, and I certainly don't need all that wiring used for turn signals and brake lights going for a ride. I've removed the Lambda sensor already and have found how to keep the ignition module from going into limp mode from another website.

Don't know why you're planning to do this unless it's a track bike but basically start form the ECU and bin everything that doesn't involve keeping the motor running. I've built loads of race looms like this.

Thanks Rob,

Yep, it was a wrecked and written off bike that now has a second life as a racer. See thread viewtopic.php?t=2930
