I've taken a fancy to the replacement footrests offered by Oberon Engineering http://www.oem-uk.com/acatalog/BMW_R1100S.html for no other reason than I like the look of them (had a close look at the NEC), and that the rubbers on the front are getting quite worn and slippery.
Anyone have any experience of them? I also gather that the original footrests might help eliminate some vibration from the rider due to the rubber inserts therefore the solid Oberon ones might be a retrograde move? Regards Bob

And here i am.
They do look nice dont they. However you will notice the extra vibes that the standard rubberized ones damped out,But you will be rewarded with extra feel through the pegs and they are shorter than standard which helped with ground clearance when i had a stock suspension setup.
Very well made,i,ve had mine on the bike about 3 years.Check out their stainless bar ends too.
