Very Sadly my Neighbour pegged it last week, I think and feel close to the event myself, Our (my) self build has taken its toll, Iv`e shed weight lost muscle tone and lost interest and zest in all things except family, three bikes wintered for over a year now, Built a boat during lockdown that i planned to row to Ireland and back this summer (For the rotary Club charitable purpose) and now I have not the strength to limp my dog around after a days shift. However .... just lately my sciatica is repairing.. I see light at the end of the tunnel and am now browsing bike related shxte again. I thought i was done with it , convinced my bikes could go i would not be to bothered about that. Missus brought back an MCN this week and I now see that all bikes for sale on there are from trade and it appears there are some amazing used prices across the range even BMW albeit the R18`s.
Would dearly like a Guzzi.
Hope spirits are high across this community and that I am alone in self pity

started out with nothing, still have most of it left.
With all the recent madness with Covid, economy and potential war with Russia (is Berwick still technically at war with Russia from back in the Crimean War days or was that finally sorted)
It's no wonder at times we all feel a bit anxious.
A few years ago after being hospitalised with pneumonia I felt very weak and tired for about 6 months. Shortly after coming from hospital I sold my RT and almost immediately regretted it, luckily finding a similar but higher spec one for similar money.
So don't feel too disheartened, get out there for some rides, motorcycling has a fantastic knack of clearing the head!

Hi Chris, sorry to hear you've you lost a little of your joie de vivre but sounds like you're on an upswing. I know others who have self-built their house and none of them describe it as fun.
I've not really used the bike this year but we are going down to see some friends in Brittany next month so will clock up a few miles. As Gwain said, always time for a coffee in the Borders if you fancy a meet up one day.
Keep smiling

Thanks Guys, On the mend and can now walk properly , spirits are a lot higher and my fears that my left hip was a gonner are allayed from the x ray. I`m not that surprised that these things have caught up with me but.. I consider myself lucky in general.
Nice to hear from you fellas. looking forward to getting my bikes into their new home.
