a police car locally ploughed head on into a cow down a lane on night, the bobbies were rushing to the report of a cow loose in the lane. Resulting in a written off police car and an animal that had to be put to sleep.

I questioned the decision making process of the police driver, and was having a discussion with several active and retired officers. Some debating with me others agreeing with me, one in particular was an instructor who said he'd want to know what was in the mind of the driver.

Sadly the forum admin (ex job) appeared to take umbrage at the discussion, even though no one had been in any way shape or form abusive or rude.

My quip to him was probably the final straw as he kept stating it wasn't open to debate and his decision was final, and in a moment of exasperation I said "just 'cos we ride German motorcycles doesn't mean we have to act like Nazis...."

Sadly that was the end of me, and to add insult to injury he had someone from north Wales police phone me and "warn" me about abusive contact! I took the piss initially on the phone as I thought it was one of my mates winding me up :)

I'd figured after over a decade they'd relent but obviously not :)

Oh I remember it well, Steve.
You were a very naughty boy and got me banned as well but I think they have relented in my case.
And although you were naughty I do forgive you!

able to continue if we do not halt this increase ..."
