How to remove spark plugs?

Post by a-jay26 »

Hi there,

On occasions I have tried to get my spark plugs out, but the sockets i have tried don't appear to fit. I bought a standard spark plug socket from Halford and although it passes down through the roocker cover, as it approaches the plug itself, it jams in the tappered shaft down to the plug before it can connect onto the plug itself.... ir the socket appears to be to wode...... what tool do I need to get the dam things out?? Or can anyone tell me what size of box spanner i would need??

thanks all

Have you not got the standard tool kit under the seat? There is a plug spanner there
