So the K1 has been off the road for some time, the fork seals failed, then covid hit, then 'cos of not being used the rad fan has siezed.

Just managed to get hold of a pair of forks so will be able to pop them in and service the existing ones as spares. Thinking of getting an upgrade more modern fan from here

apart from additional reliability it has a greater airflow (a good thing on a K1)

Now sporting it's replacement forks, with the originals being serviced with new seals and oil as back up spares.

Surprisingly the swap went very smoothly, was expecting a 30+ year old bike to through some fastener issues at me but all went well.

Now just waiting for the fan, let's hope that goes to plan

Well fan fitted, MoT passed

K1 now road legal, I'd forgotten how much I liked it!
