Sena 10U

Post by dave the german »

Any of our esteemed members managed to fit a Sena 10U for a shoe Neotec into a Neotec 2 helmet?
It's time for a new helmet and I don't really want to spend another £200+ on a new coms system

Phil that’s the Neotec 1 helmet which I have but it’s getting old so time to change. They are a good coms setup but expensive so puts the price of a new lid and coms over £700

Dave
If you do end up having to replace the coms then you should be able to get 20% off the coms if you buy them with the helmet as helmets are protective equipment and VAT free.

Cheers Phil and Steve. I’ve been on to Motolegends and they don’t seem to think it will fit. There is a new system for the Neotec 2. Looking at the helmet it seems the problem would be the battery pack. Motolegends knock the VAT off if you buy both but that still puts the price at about £750. I’ve managed to get a BMW universal coms at a good price so there’s a Sena 10U for sale cheaply - cracking coms but limited application

I'm at a simlar point in relation to a new helmet. I have had my beloved Schuberth S2 sport since 2015 with Sena 10u comms - great kit. Helmet now old and a bit grotty. Been trying stuff on and settled on C4 procarbon with new bespoke comms which is semi-preinstalled. Overall cost £600 plus a few quid.
New helmets in this techladen world ain't cheap
