Change of plan for me too, I'm afraid. After the heavy rain of the past few days there are some damp spots on our walls where the roof appears to be leaking... The management company for the block of flats are sending somebody around on Monday morning to investigate, so I'll have to be here to let them in. Sorry folks, but hopefully see some of you in Moffat in a couple of weeks.

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Aye Peter, suffering with shoulders and in the words of the song, the drugs don’t work (well they’re not doing much to numb the pain and discomfort). Have a safe journey all of you and we’ll meet up next year-even if I have to make a meet my main holiday!!!!!

Hmm well it certainly rained, on the way there and then again on the way home.
Still an enjoyable day out and good to meet up with a few old friends once again. Just hope its not as wet in Moffat in 2 weeks time.

Its a fair while since I did a 320 mile round trip for a fry up but enjoyed myself today and I think the XR was the right choice for me at this time. Looking forward to Moffat and the run Chris has promised.

Yip it was good to catch up with you all and the 320 mile breakfast bap was not a shabby shift Peter! Your bike looks to be a sound purchase and I hope you enjoy getting on with it as much as poss. These things do take an effort but once out there and back, on reflection it is well worth the effort and satisfying that we are all keepin on keepin on.!

Canny purchase with the V8 Reg. Has it been Claybarred yet?

Steve, good shift from the south coast too.

looking forward to Moffat and fingers crossed the weather gods will give us dry roads.

Stay positive!

Nice little gathering and chat this morning and I’m with you on the choice vehicle Reg, glad I was in the van, hats off to Steve & Peter for their long distance efforts, a long time riding for a breakfast chat, hopefully we will get a lot more in next year.
Hope you get better weather in Moffat.

Chris, didn’t get chance to ask what the “deal is almost done” on.
