... can be found here!
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Clever piece of kit - that 360.
Would be interested to see what was possible when fitted to a gimbal mount on the tail/topbox
Footage through decent twisties would be great!

Re: Video of 2019 Boxertrix Yorkshire weekend
Hi Al,
If you take a look at this video I did in the Alps earlier in the year, there are some shots I did with the camera mounted above the top box, and also on a pole in front of the bike, to give some idea of different shot types. On the Yorkshire video, it was just mounted on my wing mirror, which makes it easier for me to turn on and off again. I'm still waiting for a remote control to turn it on and off again when it's in one of the more inaccessible mounting positions.
The camera does not need a gimbal, because it has a gyro which allows it to work out the horizon, regardless of which orientation the camera is pointed, and also it does fantastic stabilisation based on having a complete 360 view of all scenes. The icing on the cake is the automatic ability of the camera to erase the "selfie-stick" from all shots, so it looks like the camera is floating in mid air.
Go Pro have just announced a competitor camera called the GoPro Max, which has the advantage of being a bit more rugged and also waterproof. I might be side-grading in that direction, since my Insta360 one X is not weather sealed, which means that the slightest hint of rain and it has to go back in it's bag.
If you show up in Moffat in October, You can see it in action yourself and I can show you some of my alternative camera mounting options.
Cheers,
Paul

Wow! Didn’t realise they were that sophisticated! Thought it was a Garmin you had in any case.
A far cry from Gwen facing backwards on the pillion, draped over the top-box clutching a camera, with Reg at the controls.........
(Would have loved to have seen THAT one)
Al
