R1200s Ohlins service

Post by popsky »

Had my Ohlins fully serviced by Steve Whitear at Hel Performance Exeter, wow what a difference, never has my bike handled so well even when first purchased 11 years ago.

Had mine done by Kais suspension couple of years back - it didn't get much use cos of it being injured but you're right - what a difference. Now why can't all things in life be stripped down and repaired/refurbished?

Ah - your talking about being designed & built to last and be fixed, which is not something the accountants want these days 'cos it costs more in the first place.
Good old Victorian engineering.
Buy cheap = buy twice or thrice.
