Hagon shocks .
Anyone have any experience with Hagon shocks ?
I want to change my suspension units for something a bit more sophisticated but can't afford the Ohlins route.
I know they were the bees knees in the 70's (there I go showing my age again) but anyone tried their current stuff ?
Bob.

One of the courier bods tried one on the back of his Pan 1300 to try and stop the famous instability issue but it didn't help. He quite rated the shock although it was no more adjustable than stock. Didn't know they did one for the S.

It's not how fast you ride, it's how you ride fast.
Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear
bright until you hear them speak.

Hagon list a front and rear standard length unit for the S at £255 each.
That includes spring rebound adjustment and " automatic rebound & compression balance ? "
A remote hydraulic spring adjuster adds another £125 .
They don't stock one for the sports length shocks (which I have) so they would be one offs to customer spec at £295 each .
Chris I take your point . Think I will do some more digging around and hang fire for the moment .

One thing to be aware of is that Ohlins are serviceable so if you intend keeping the S for a few years then that may make a difference to your choice, not know whether Hagons can be rebuilt - let me know.

According to their website( www.hagon-shocks.co.uk) they
are fully rebuildable .
I saw them at the bike show last year and they looked the part .
Wondered if anyone had used them .
