Yup, I'd let one of those nestle in my garage. Do you know if it's real or is it a photoshop paint job?
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

How do you know it's rim tape
:?
Of course I don't know that it isn't, but I wouldn't have thought someone who's gone to that much trouble and expense to create something like this, would ruin it with a fivers worth of rim tape from M&P
Oh yeah right !!!!!!!
Most likely painted rims, lacquered in, done at the same time as the frame and bodywork.

I can't get fired up about the R-Nine T Racer.

It looks nice enough and I suppose the proof is in the eating, but on paper at least I find it uninspiring.

Compared to my 12s:

Less power
More weight
No tele-lever

Apart from pretty looks (which is enough for some), it doesn't offer much.

The red frame and stripes on the wheels ruin it........they should have stayed black or maybe orange, but not red!
I agree with Herb........12S is the better of the two!

cheers

Must be pretty good if all we can find fault with is red wheel rims
I think the R NINE T is a great looking bike, and exactly what the market wants at the moment.
Having said that, being a boring old fart, I'd go for the R1200R.
More useful, comfortable and practical, and it has the new engine, which is a revelation.
In about 5 years I might be able to afford a used one.
