belly pans for centre stands..... R1100S
who makes a belly for the R1100S that works with a centre stand, that I can paint and won't break the bank?
Links to suppliers - or new and used example I could refurb appreciated.

Not sure any belly pans will work with a centre stand, possible that the smaller "bugspoiler" ones on ebay in the bodywork section will be ok, they are from germany and might fit with a bit of work, somewhere there is a post with bracket dimensions that may be a help if you get a bellypan that will fit.

yes I could adapt a standard moulding to take the centre stand.
I definately saw one modelled off the BCR original in GRP that worked with the centre stand once.
I think you are right, it was German and forget who made it. Something will turn up, otherwise I will just get this one, paint it to match, stick with the side stand and rest assured it one slightly less expensive to panel to damage on tour. http://www.boxercafe.com/R1100S.htm I'd like the GRP cylinder head covers to paint satin black too - to offer protection, original look (from a distance) and leave the carbon ones at home for 'best'

I have a bcr replica style bellypan on my 1100 and a centre stand will not fit. Having just a sidestand has not been an issue in the 10 years I have had the bike.

Folks,
I got a used (and slightly damaged) CF bellypan from Beemer Boneyard about two years ago. Had original BMW stickers on the inside, and fits perfectly around the center stand. I repaired the damage, and painted to match the rest of the bike. I will check it for any other identifying marks over the weekend and let you know what I find.
Regards,
Mike

Matt,
Looks like I've removed the part numbers from my bellypan.
I did locate the identical part on the A&S BMW website listing for "engine spoiler" here;
http://www.ascycles.com/Illustrated_cat ... at=46_0536
List price is about $1000USD
Not that it helps you today, but Beemerboneyard have part of the CF engine spoiler here;

All the best,
Mike

I just ordered a complete set for racing from Sebimoto. Czech Rep.

They sell each part for the entire bike. Belly pan would be way cheaper than stock BCR carbon. You'd just need to paint.
I was told it takes about 10 days for production (I'm getting front sides, front, tail, belly pan and mirror covers). Make sure you double check if you're getting a belly pan. They make a race and street version. Race has no cut outs for side stand.
I'll post up a review and pics when they arrive.

I couldn't see a full bellypan on there, only what looks like a small one for the front of the engine. Did I miss it?BlackDuc wrote:I just ordered a complete set for racing from Sebimoto. Czech Rep.

I'm doing just that excercise now for our Oilhead projects.
I'll let you know how it goes . did I mention we've been making stuff commercially in GRP for over 40 years !! [ replica sports cars ].
$1000 dollars for a belly pan ???????????????
Jeez - made from unobtanium probably.

Re: belly pans for centre stands..... R1100S
I'm developing one as we speak. We need one for our project bikes and although we are ditching the centre stand, we will make it so that it works with BOTH stands.masha wrote:who makes a belly for the R1100S that works with a centre stand, that I can paint and won't break the bank?

Should have the first one out of the moulds in a week or two.

prototype now finished - retain both side and centre stand no probs.
Also has heat flow inlets to give additional cooling.
The final product will have mounting fixtures and heat shielding inside pan.
The production moulds are being completed as we speak.
