New BMW R90 Concept

Post by bikesnbones »

Sorry if this has been covered before
I've been waiting for this bike for years, and last month got a call from my BMW dealer telling me it is on the cards.
This is the concept teaser.
The production version is definitely coming and I just hope it stays faithful to the concept.

Think it has been posted, or a link to MCN or something,
Regardless, I like it a lot 8)

If I could persuade my wife to get one, or the Triumph Thruxton, I can see me 'borrowing' her bike quite a lot

I saw the bike in France a couple of weeks ago, and does look better in the flesh than the photo's thought. Also, sounded great as it was running on almost open pipes. :D

What I really hope is that it makes production without all the Roland Sands machined custom parts, which for me really spoil the bike, and just look cruiser bling on what is essentially quite a pure design.

I think that's wishful thinking.
I mean BMW's bread and butter R1200R costs more than that.
My dealer reckons in the region of 15k

It is going to be on display at the Festival of Speed, Goodwood this weekend. I'll try and get some pictures of it tomorrow.

Great looking bike. There have not been many BM's I would sell the Mamola to help finance but that is certainly one of them.
