Don't want to disappoint you Phil but the Bulls Head is not a pub
Pubs a few steps in any direction so you won't go thirsty
Me and Claire are So so so looking forward to the 19th having the chance to meet up with All the great friends we have made, the food, the odd pint and a little bit of bike riding in between
Trying to sort babysitters so we can both come and stay over sat night.
Happy to do a bit of a run sunday off the beaten track if anyone fancies it. If you get the chance on the way to Hawes to do Settle to Ribblehead to Hawes... do it
Hi all,
Soon be Friday and time for Hawes, Looks like this glorious weather is to continue over the weekend . We plan to arrive mid afternoon and will most likely be found sitting outside one of the hostelries in the main st, See you all there.
Usual procedure for Sat morning please, Leaving from outside the Bulls Head @ 10-00am prompt, Full tank of fuel (and empty bladder) please. Fuel stop planned after around 95 miles. Using the Drop Off system as per usual.
Ride Safe and I'll see you all Fri evening/Sat Morning.
I am meeting up with a buddy at Alan Jeffries in Shipley midday.( He is fast, pulls some amazing wheelies, incredible stoppies and can drift as good as any pro. Hope he comes on his thunderbird, that calms him) Then we head for Cobb and Jagger on to Settle, Ribblehead Hawes. Looking like an expensive weekend off then. Geoff has only just got his license back after a lengthy ban he is a recovering alcoholic so this weekend will be a good test for him eh?
Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)
started out with nothing, still have most of it left.
Unfortunately I have had to pull out of this at the last minute on account of being out of the country on business (total waste of time as it happens ).
Hope the weather stays fair and have a safe ride everybody and catch you next time.
