BCR Agreed insurance valuation
I am now trying to include my 2003 Mamola BCR with two other bikes on a Multi bike classic insurance policy with Carol Nash, they have now asked for four photographs for an agreed valuation. I am stating £5499 for the agreed replacement value.
Do you think that I am in the right ball park ?

If you document the condition of the bike(s) - just go for a nominal sum for insurance?
I think the £5500 value is a bit steep? although if they agree to it - why not?
Why not insure for around £4,800 (is that more realistic?) and if worst happens and:
1) you need to claim
2) they offer a derisory sum
You ask them to find a replacement for you.
When I binned a special edition car - I had sales figures for the previous year for that car, and used it to lever the right amount from the insurance company.

If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......

See if that works .....

This bike is near mint with just under 9000 miles, it would be hard to find a like for like BCR.
I already have this Classic bike policy in place with a 1957 BSA B31 400cc Goldstar Clubman replica agreed value £6500 this was also valued by the BSA club, and a fully restored 12000 mile 1979 BMW R100S with an agreed value of £4500 it is also valued by the BMW Club UK.
I have asked to add the Boxercup on to the same policy, they have asked me to send photographs taken from all four sides.
