I once saw a bus driver kick a Tourette's sufferer off the bus.
He was only a young lad.
I tried to explain to that driver what the lads condition was, but he couldn't have cared less
I got off with the boy and wanted to give him my details so he could pursue the bus company.
I never heard from him, and it was clear from his body language, that this was the kind of discrimination and bullying he faces on an every day basis,
The kind of ignorance I see displayed here on this thread.
So I'm glad you all had a good laugh, and defended your rights to make jokes about people who suffer from such a debilitating condition.
I just hope one day that you may be affected by it either directly or indirectly.
Then you might not find it so funny.
