CT1 Spray

Postby Taz » Thu Jan 19, 2017 5:43 pm

While the plumber was fitting a new shower, he introduced me to a spray called CT1. It's made in Northern Ireland and they make sealants and other similar products. The spray is fantastic for removing tar, sealant, etc. It's not cheap (£24 on Amazon) but it does the job.

I've heard of this stuff before. Will it remove cured silicon?

I think so. It says it will on the can.

I'll report back when I take my shower unit out. I seem to remember looking on line a few years back for something and this coming up. It was expensive then but if it removes cured silicon it will be worth it
