I know they are not up north but he does a mobile service, travelling all over the country provided there is enough demand. He might be heading up your way in the near future.

His place is less than mile away from me and I pass it every day and didn't know he existed. I'll give him a try when I lay the bike up for winter in a 2/3 months time.

Yes it is with SBS and yes I'll mention it, no problem

The only time I get to see the bike in daylight is at weekends. I'll try and remember to take the "dirty photos" this coming weekend before it goes in on the 14th.

Picked the bike up from Nigel at SBS this morning and to say I'm well pleased is an understatement. I don't think the bike has ever been this clean since it left the factory, certainly not in the 7 years i've had it anyway

The few splashes of mud are from getting the bike back home.

The only real downside is that it does show up all the corroded bits that the dirt usually hides but a well spent £50 in my opinion.

That's the bike's Christmas present sorted, now to find something for SWMBO

Yes it did, thanks. I mentioned Griff and he is going to see him tomorrow.

The finish should last a couple of months as it won't be going out again until March

I'm hoping to get the time to attend to the front forks and timing cover over winter.
