Stainless Steel Fastners

Ok people, after a little thought and since some people were very much interested in puchasing the kits, I have decided to go ahead anyhow and here is the list that I have compiled:
4 Socket Cap Pannier Rail Underside too Subframe
2 Socket Cap Pannier Rail too Pillion Peg
4 Socket Cap Pillion Peg Mounts
2 Socket Cap Rear Brake Heal Plate
2 Socket Button Nearside Heal Plate
2 Socket Button Front Mudguard (long)
2 Socket Button Front Mudguard (short)
6 Socket Button Indicator Sponson
4 Socket Button Pannier Rail Rearmost by tail light
5 Socket Button Screen
2 Socket Cap Fork Pinch Bolt; axle
2 Socket Cap Upper Yoke Pinch Bolt
4 Socket Cap Lower Yoke Pinch Bolt
12 Socket Cap Timing Cover
4 Socket Cap Alternator Belt Cover
2 Socket Cap Front Cylinder Guard Mount (Non Guard)
4 Socket Cap Cam Cover
4 Socket Cap Exhaust Headers too Cat Clamp Bolts
2 Socket Button Number Plate Mount
1 Socket Cap Forward Rear Number Plate Cowl Mount
1 Penny Washer Ditto
1 Socket Cap ABS Subframe Pipe Mount
8 Socket Button Seat Plastics and Rear Tank Plastics
2 Socket Cap Rear of Seat Socket Caps (under seat, only socket caps under seat except for lock mechanism)
1 Socket Cap Undertray Central Screw (Underside)
1 Penny Washer Ditto
2 Socket Cap Seat Lock
2 Socket Cap Front Pannier Frame and Subframe Mount
2 Penny Washer Ditto
2 Nyloc Ditto
1 Socket Cap Rear Brake Pedal Pivot
1 Penny Washer Ditto
3 Socket Button Rearset Mounts
1 Socket Button Gear Change Leaver Mount
1 Penny Washer Ditto
2 Socket Cap Lower Subframe
2 Nyloc Ditto
4 Socket Cap Camshaft Outer (under cylinder)
4 Socket Cap Camshaft Inner (under cylinder)
3 Socket Cap ABS Sensor Mounting Screws
4 Socket Button Front Fairing Screws (Nose and Inner-most)
Naturally, if you have engine rocker-cover protectors I will need to know these lengths so that I can change the kit for your needs and this is also applicable for non-pannier frame people (subframe screw that would be the front mount)
The above inclusive of P&P is £32, engine kit is as follows:
12 Socket Cap Timing Cover
4 Socket Cap Alternator Belt Cover
2 Socket Cap Front Cylinder Guard Mount (Non Guard)
4 Socket Cap Cam Cover (Plastic Cover)
4 Socket Cap Camshaft Outer (under cylinder)
4 Socket Cap Camshaft Inner (under cylinder)
Above is £9 inclusive of P&P while fairing kit minus above is £23 inclusive of P&P
If anyone wants me to order the parts to make them a kit then please give me a shout on minivin@ntlworld.com and I'll get it sorted
I'm also looking into caliper bolts, disc bolts and rocker cover bolts, the later is of course a nuisance as it has a large button head but small shank diameter but I may be able to get these made to order.

Minivin, could you do me a small rather particular order of 8 bolts, only 2 different sizes? or would you recommend that I try a shop for such a small order?
I just made up a little addition for my Rockster and used whatever I had that fitted, but some nice allen / domed head bolts would finish the job off nicely.
I'm not sure of the sizes as yet, but can confirm in the next few days (one set will be M8, the other pretty small - I need to measure them up).
Just for us numpties - could be define the difference between cap and button heads? (maybe with piccies?)
(I really ought to know this stuff - I used to be a goddamned engineer )

non quod, sed quomodo
No probs, let me know and I'll get them priced for you
Socket Cap are the fasteners that have a cylindrical head to them with the hexagonal tool edge on the inside so that only the use of an allen key will turn it, while a Socket Button head is a socket cap screw but instead of a cylindrical head is a shallow hemispherical head with the hexagonal tool head for an allen key once again.
Examples for these are:
Socket Cap: Subframe Lowest Mount (i.e. where the lowest mount is to the C-frame)
Button Head: The screws that hold the screen on.

Hello Everyone, just about to do an order tonight so can anyone say whether they want a kit ordered this week or next? just that one order is cheaper than multiples in postage.
Will also look into brake pins and caliper mounts, front disk mounts could also be an option as they're button head but need to be high grade......
Regards
Rob Vincent
